Access by Car

From Onomichi (Honshu area)

Go across Shimanami Kaido, and get off at Ikuchi Island North IC.
It takes about 15 minutes to arrive at Shimayado NEST from the IC.

From Imabari (Shikoku area)

Go across Shimanami Kaido, and get off at Ikuchi Island South IC.
It takes about 15 minutes to arrive at Shimayado NEST from the IC.

Parking

Precautions to use Shimayado NEST’s parking space

  1. Shimayado NEST’s parking space is located at the right opposite area of the inn.
  2. Please be sure to inform us when making room reservations. (the space is limited!)
  3. Parking fee is 500 yen per night. (Cash Only)
  4. Parking fee is accepted by cash only. Please pay at the front desk during check-in.
  5. If you would like to use the parking space before check-in or after check-out, please ask our staff for guidance.

Access by Bicycle

From Onomichi (Honshu area)
  • It takes about 4 hours from Onomichi.
    This is the estimated time of a beginner running slowly.
  • You can also load up your bike and take a ferry. The ferry arrives at Setoda Port which is right in front of our inn.

From Imabari (Shikoku area)
  • It takes about 4 hours from Imabari.
    This is the estimated time of a beginner running slowly.
  • You can also load up your bike and take a ferry. The ferry arrives at Omishima which is a neighbor island.
